Robert L. Anderson

Robert Louis Anderson Jr., age 63, was born on May 24th 1953 in Dayton OH, to the late Mattie Ruth Phillips and the late Robert Louis Anderson Sr. He was a graduate of Patterson Cooperative High School class of 1972. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, serving from August 1st 1972 and honorably discharged on February 16th 1980 obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Upon completion of his military service, he continued serving the Department of Defense as a civil service employee for Wright Patterson Air Force Base for 31 ½ years retiring in April of 2012.

He is preceded in death by his Father: Robert Louis Anderson Sr.; Mother: Mattie Ruth Postell; Stepfather: Melvin Postell; and Sister: Alma Danley.

Robert leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife: Verdell Anderson; Daughter: Trina Anderson; Son: Robby Anderson; unborn twin Sons: Nathaniel and Noah Anderson; Sisters: Apria Mitchell (Robert), Bernice Jennings, Magdalene Bedford (Hobert); Brothers: Richard Anderson (Georgia), Ricky Anderson (Dionne); Granddaughters: Mykel Cook, Rahbi Anderson, Amaree Anderson, Nyla Grundy; Grandson: Mikah Anderson and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.

Family will receive friends Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at New Season Ministry, 5711 Shull Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424, Kent O. Johnson, D. Min., officiating.
