Robert Allen Wood

Robert A Wood, age 75, of Beavercreek Ohio, passed away Monday August 10th , 2026. Bob was born in Urbana, Ohio to the late Charles and Juanita Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Teresa Wood.

Bob is survived by his brother Charles Jackson Wood; and children, daughter Kristin and Tim Nietfeld; daughter Sarah and Jason Barrett; son Michael and Madalyn Miller; and his grandchildren Carrie, Viera, Michelle, Kayta, Javen and Lorelei.

Bob earned an undergraduate and masters degree from Wright State University where he also worked for 34 years. His love of softball, gardening (mowing grass), march madness, grilling, hosting annual beer tastings for family and friends, and all things hot peppers, was only surpassed by his love of his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday August 22nd, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek) Immediately following visitation hours, Bob will be laid to rest at Mt.
