Rita Marie Kreitzer

Rita Marie Kreitzer, age 62 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born April 21, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late William and June Helm.

Rita graduated from Belmont High School with the class of 1983. She worked at Esther Price Candies and Long Cleaners in Beavercreek for many years. Family was most important to her, but over the last 12 years her favorite times were spent with her grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her flowers, meticulously caring for her lawn, watching hummingbirds and laying out by the pool. Rita was a loving wife, mother and mamaw who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Debra Helm and Peggy Williams.

Rita is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dan; sons, Eric Conkel, Tom (Stacy) Kreitzer and Phil Kreitzer; grandchildren, Hazel, Aliza, Liam, Levi, Boaz and Lenix; siblings, Bill (Theresa) Helm, Mike Helm and Judy (Jeff) Green; and many other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Rita's memory.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a Service at 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
