Rita D. Hogan

Rita Diana Hogan, age 85 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 11, 2026. She was born February 28, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio. The daughter of the late Frederick and Marguerite Simpson (Young).

Rita was a loving and devoted mother as she raised 4 children as a single mother on her own. She graduated from Wright State University with Honors and went on to work as an accountant at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Her pride and joy was her family and doing whatever she could for them. Rita enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends and traveling. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her 7 siblings; and her grandson, Robert.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Robert) Everson, Gregory (Shelley) Hogan, Barbara (Robert) Boulerice, and Jeffrey Hogan; grandchildren, Carinda (Gary) and Randy; great grandchildren, Jaxon, Caden, and Garrett; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 10am to 11am at St. Henry Chapel at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45409. A funeral service will begin at 11am also at the chapel with a committal at the graveside to follow.
