Ridley C. Adkins, 71, of Dayton, passed away June 3, 2014.
He was born September 3, 1942 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of the late Isaac and Lenar Adkins.
Ridley served his country in the US Army from 1964-1966. He enjoyed going fishing and watching NASCAR.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
Ridley is survived by his sister, Jean (Jerry) Parker; daughters, Melissa (Mike) Gant, Stephanie (Brian) Wolfenbarger, Valerie (Ricardo) Rodriguez, and Jennifer (Dennis) Long. He had many nieces and nephews, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Friday, June 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ridley's name.
