Ricky Steven Maynard

Ricky S. Maynard, 66, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on May 11, 2024, following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Teresa; his son, Matthew; and his mother, Vivian. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Maynard, in 2017.

Rick lived his entire life in Dayton and retired from the City of Dayton Division of Water Supply and Treatment in 2008. He loved to cook, fish, garden, and spend time with his family. After his retirement, he enjoyed running the kitchen at the Antioch Shrine.

Rick will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and fellow members of Alpha Lodge 729 and the Antioch Shrine. His love, humor, and generosity will be forever remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held on Friday, May 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Antioch Shrine (107 E 1st St, Dayton, OH 45402), where friends and family will gather to honor his memory.
