Burton, Ricky L. age 64, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 17, 1955 to Harvey and Hattie Burton (nee Fugate).
He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Burton; and sister, Jane Glick.
Ricky is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Pam Burton (nee Evans); children, David Burton and Leslie (Kelly) Anderson; mother, Hattie Burton; grandchildren, Sydney, Peyton, and Kari; siblings, Russell (Pat) and Randy; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ricky was a loving husband, dad, son, and grandfather. He loved riding motorcycles, spending time outdoors and with friends. He died as he lived, strong willed and not willing to give up easily. Ricky didn't know a stranger, he accepted people as who they were and if you were his friend, you were his friend for life.
In loving memory of Ricky, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420 and American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton -Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Ceremony will take place on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Rd, Fairborn, OH 45324.
