Ricky Dale Barker

BARKER, Ricky D., 65 of Medway, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020. Ricky was born November 29, 1954 to Milford and Ina who precede him in death, also preceding him were his siblings, Kenny, Carl, Clarence, Louise, Goldie, Susan, Larry.

Ricky leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 23 years, Tawney (Lindsey) Barker, children, Lacy (Danny) Dickey, Jacob (Ashley) Lindsey, Amanda (Ed) Michek, Terry (Angie) Barker, Ashley (Nathaan) Burcham, Andrea (Joe) Gawlikowski, Trevor Barker; 18 grandchildren Valerie & Julie Dickey, Devon Pontsler, Austin Barker, Brayden Neal, Christian Wylie, Cameron Barker, Connor Michek, Blake Geisel, Ethaan Burcham, Addilynn & Graysin Gawlikowski, Teagan Barker, Hunter & Loralie Barker, Carter Michek. Also surviving are his siblings Dottie Elkins, Donna Jean Barker, Gary (Doreen) Barker, Deb Sammons, several nieces, nephews, mother-in-law Lindy Lindsey-Kapp and special pet dog Copper.

Ricky loved restoring classic cars, he enjoyed his family, Copper and bonfires. He enjoyed tinkering around in his garage. He loved shooting guns, "God, Country & Trump". He was a retired truck driver. He was a come as you are guy, "adopted" the neighborhood kids, and always had words of wisdom to share. Ricky is the BEST husband, father, man and friend in the world.

There will be a Celebration of Ricky's life, 5:00 pm Friday, June 19, 2020 at BETHEL COMMUNITY CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 4400 Osborn Road, Medway, Ohio 45341, with Pastor Rick Fiste presiding. Contributions in memory of Ricky may be made to his family to assist with funeral expenses.
