Rickey "Rick" Ashburn

Rickey "Rick" Ashburn passed away Thursday August 1, 2024. Rick was born August 25, 1958 to Burl and JoAnn Ashburn.

Rick was a veteran of the United States Navy. Rick's military service took him to Scotland, where he met and married his soulmate, Grace. They shared 38 years together. Rick spent 30 years traveling the country's highways, earning a reputation as a skilled and reliable truck driver, something he loved. In retirement, Rick treasured the time spent with his daughter and son in law Heather and Jose along with his eight grandchildren Helen, Joseph, Gabriella, Andrea, Benjamin, Victoria, Elizabeth and Joshua. He enjoyed fishing with them and spending time watching the kids play soccer. Rick will be remembered by all who knew and loved him and his presence with be missed. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace; father, Burl and brother, Timmy.

He is survived by daughters, Heather (Jose) Zaragoza and Ann Marie Ashburn; grandchildren, Helen, Joseph, Gabriella, Andrea, Benjamin, Victoria, Elizabeth, Joshua, Autumn, and Jeffrey; mother, JoAnn Ashburn and brother, Keith (Michele) Ashburn.
