Rick Sanders, age 66, of Dayton, passed away at Miami Valley Hospital on January 24, 2024. Rick was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 17, 1957 to the late Bobby Sanders and Mazie Francis.
Rick is preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by wife/true love, Paula Sanders; daughter, Nikki Leasher; daughter, Michelle Holland and son-in-law Jason Holland; his Mother Mazie Francis; grandsons, Brady, Dallon and Terry; granddaughter, Kaela; granddaughter, Katie/Moemoe; great-grandson, Hayden; great-granddaughters, Iris and Sophia; and great-grandson, Brantley, and many other family and friends
Rick retired from the Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed singing, listening to music, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Rick was the most honest and caring man anyone could meet. He was a knight in shining armor.
"We We We", Rick and Paula believed they could do anything and they always did everything together. They were never apart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton Children's Cancer Center (140 N. Keowee St, Dayton).
