Powers, Richard Delano Sr. age 85, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. He was born in Ervinton in Hazel, Dickerson County, Virginia on June 17, 1934 to the late Carter and Frances Powers (nee Woods).
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Kathleen Emma Powers; daughter, Cheryl Jean Powers "Sissy"; son, Brian Keith Powers; sisters, Naomi, Edna, Goldie, Wilma; and brother, Jerry.
Richard is survived by his beloved children, Sherry L. (Larry "Ray") Howard, Richard Delano (Christine) Powers "Rick", Jr., Lonnie Wayne Powers, Christine (John) Manriquez, and Mark A. (Marcy) Powers; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Maynard; sisters, Georgie, Mary, Shelby, and Brenda; and a host of other family members and friends.
Services will be held privately due to the currently environment surrounding the coronavirus. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
