Richard Dana Lambdin

Richard Dana Lambdin (age 59) of Dayton passed Sunday, October 19, 2025. He was born June 2, 1966, in Dayton, Ohio to JoAnn (Moore) and Thomas Lambdin who both preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter Abby Lambdin and Abby’s mother, Angi Lambdin both of Dayton, Ohio; brother Tom (Debbie) Lambdin of Springboro, Ohio; niece Erin (Keith) Person and their three children of Dayton, Ohio; nephew Adam (Chloe) Lambdin of Springboro, Ohio; aunts Lana Rowe and Brenda (Fred) Browning both of Sidney, Ohio. He is also survived by many first and second cousins and good friends including Jeff Parsons, Earl Schreck, and Russell Miller.

Richard was employed for most of his working career at Mahle Manufacturing located in Dayton, Ohio. He enjoyed all genres of music but especially enjoyed following his father around as he played his steel guitar in country bands that played in multiple venues across southwestern Ohio. He also enjoyed a chance to go fishing whenever he could.

He was loved by all and leaves a huge hole in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel located at 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, Ohio 45424. Funeral services will be officiated by Dan Agne at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery located at 8135 North Dixie Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
