DOMIGAN, Richard K., age 73, of Miamisburg, passed away on April 22, 2016. He was born July 6, 1942 to Willard and Janet Domigan in Springfield, OH.
He graduated in 1960 from Springfield High School and graduated in 1994 from Clark State Community College with an Associate's degree in Applied Science, Registered Nursing. He worked 30 years at International Harvester in Springfield, retiring in 1992. He began a second career as a registered nurse in 1994 and practiced this profession for 15 years.
Richard was a veteran having served in the Army and Air National Guard from July 1962 to January 1969.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy (Davis); sister, Barbara Barone of Springfield; daughter, Rhonda Blevins (Brian) of Kettering; son, Randall Domigan (Karri) of Miamisburg; grandson, Matthew Blevins, and granddaughters, Riley and Kaylee Domigan.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Springfield for 22 years prior to moving to Washington Township in 2003, and attended both Southbrook Christian Church and Miamisburg Christian Church until he was unable to attend any longer.
Richard has requested that he be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Family will receive friends at the funeral from 10:00 am until the time of service. Elder David Augustus from First Christian Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, Richard has requested that donations be made to the ALS Association of Central and Southern OH Chapter, 1170 Old Henderson Rd., Suite 221 Columbus, OH 43220 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
