Richard P. Dobbins, Sr.

Richard Parker Dobbins, Sr., age 72 of Huber Heights, passed away April 14, 2017. He was born July 5, 1944 in Shelbyville, TN to the late Alton and Dovie Dobbins. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Dobbins; and sisters: Barbara Jean, Margaret Wilson and Bobbie.
Richard is survived by his fiance, Josephine Johnson; children: Vivian King, Dorothy Dobbins, Theresa Dobbins, Vanessa Dobbins and Richard Dobbins, Jr.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sisters: Evelyn and Tudie.
Richard retired from ABF after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Teamster's Union.
Family and Friends may gather from 12-1 pm on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
