Rhoda L. Miller, a beloved mother, devoted child of God, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026. Born on May 8, 1934, Rhoda’s life was marked by her deep faith, intellect, and unwavering love for her family.
Rhoda was a woman of profound wisdom and kindness. She consistently served as a pillar of strength and support, always ready with encouraging words and thoughtful advice. Her sharp intellect and passion for learning were evident in her well-versed knowledge of the Bible, which she exemplified through her daily actions and interactions. A woman of great patience, she was often a peacemaker, bridging divides with grace and understanding.
Her vibrant personality shone through her great sense of humor and charismatic nature. Rhoda’s warmth drew many friends into her life, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore new places with enthusiasm. She delighted in reading and visiting bookstores, found joy in arts and crafts, and was enlivened by music and dance. An avid foodie with a flair for cooking, she brought joy to those around her through her culinary talents.
Rhoda was most proud of her dedication to raising twelve children and two grandchildren, a testament to her boundless capacity for love and sacrifice. She was a loving and patient mother whose devotion shaped the lives of her family profoundly.
She is survived by her daughters Cynthia L. Miller, Charlotte Miller, Vertise C. Williams, Brenda Anderson, Calvin Anderson (son-in-law), Kristsandra R. Miller, and Wanda J. Miller, who carry forward her legacy of love and steadfastness. Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Miller, and her children Jonathan Miller, Frank W. Miller, Clarence Miller, Anthony Miller, Sharena Miller, Barbara Miller, spiritual son Allen Lee, and numerous grandchildren.
Rhoda L. Miller’s life was a beacon of faith, love, and wisdom. Her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind a profound legacy of devotion, kindness, and the unyielding strength of a mother’s love.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 1 PM at West Memory Gardens, 6722 Hemple Rd, Moraine, OH 45439.
