Renate Bowne, age 70 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was born in Germany on October 18, 1943 to the late, Ernst and Ottilie Schmeisser. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Bowne; nephew and two sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Justis; grandchildren, Lee, Brandon, Rob and Cassidy; companion, Edmond Shanks; niece, Susan Grimes; nephews, Stephen Grimes and William Petitt.
