Smith, Regina Ruth, age 79, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014. She was born September 16, 1935 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Ernest & Edna Barlowe. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life: Ralph Smith; son: Harold P. Barlowe; and sisters: Judy Carol, Juanita Woods, Patricia Watts, Linda Sue Caldell & Betty Jo Kirby.
She is survived by her daughter: Nadine (Paul) Baker; son: Danny Barlowe; brothers: James E. (Grace) Barlowe, William C. "Bill" (Susan) Barlowe; sisters: Lorraine Hensley, Ernestine Nokes & Alice Long; grandchildren: Jason (Tracie) Buckley & Amanda Buckley; great grandchildren: Jordan, Jaelyn & J.J. Buckley; special nieces: Kimberly Warren & Stacy Barlowe; and numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until time of services.
