Rebecca L. Shouse

Rebecca Lynn Shouse, affectionately known as Becky, passed away on July 31, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on December 17, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, Becky lived a life marked by her unwavering love, kindness, and a dedication to her family.

Becky was a devoted mother to her daughter, Brandy Jones, and a cherished grandmother to her grandsons, Caleb Jones and Keon Wright. Her family brought her boundless joy, and she adored them deeply. Those who knew Becky admired her helpful and caring nature, as she always placed the needs of others before her own. 

Home was where Becky found joy and comfort. She embraced the simple pleasures of life, taking delight in the quiet moments spent with her cat, Beau, whom she spoiled with affection. Additionally, Becky found excitement in visiting casinos and indulging in her love for gambling, adding a spark of thrill to her everyday life.

Becky is survived by her daughter, Brandy Jones; her grandsons, Caleb Jones and Keon Wright; her sister, Debbie Valentine; along with several close friends who were fortunate to have shared moments with her.

Her passing leaves a void in the lives of those she touched, but she is now reunited with her deceased family members, including her parents, Edgar and Betty Jansen; her husband, Chris Shouse; her sister, Sondra Rhymer; and her brother-in-law, Oscar Rhymer.

Becky will be remembered for her loving spirit, the relationships she nurtured and the care she exemplified every day. Her presence will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
