Rebecca Kelly (Bowles) Miller

Rebecca Kelly (Bowles) Miller was born July 6, 1962. She departed this earth September 23, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Becky is survived by her husband, William; son, David; step-daughter, Shawn (Louis) Whitmore, and granddaughter, Mackenzie. She is also survived by her mother, Betty (Bowles) Harnish; mother-in-law, Georgia Miller; sisters, Kara (Steven) Schneider and Barbara Miller. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Kevin, Elizabeth, Sarah and Bobby along with five great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bowles and father-in-law, Aubrey Miller.
Becky graduated from Fairmont West High School. She attended Sinclair and Hocking College in Ohio. She was active with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed camping and outdoor activities. Some of her most precious memories were made at family gatherings and playing with her cousins. She enjoyed sewing and crafts, as well as cooking for her family. Perhaps Becky's most cherished role was being a grandmother.
Graveside services for the family will be led by Pastor Monte Stevens at the convenience of the family. A reception in honor of Becky's life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 2-5pm at the home of Kara and Steve Schneider.
Becky maintained a positive attitude despite tremendous health obstacles and she truly fought the good fight!
