Rebecca Maiden, affectionately known as Becky, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. She was 70 years old born on November 14, 1954. Becky lived a life marked by her unwavering love, kindness, and dedication to her family. She was a retired bus driver for Dayton Public Schools, where she touched the lives of countless students and their families.
Becky was a devoted wife to her husband, Larry Maiden, and a devoted mother to her children, Rebecca Lynn, Jackie, Jessie (Joe Benitez), and Brandon (Natalie) Christman. She was also a cherished mamaw to Trinity, Laila, Bellamy, Aria, Dominic, Cameron, Jordan, Mia Lilah, Ollie, and Jay. Her family brought her boundless of joy, and she adored them deeply. Those who knew her admired her helpful and caring nature, as she always placed the needs of others before her own.
Home was where Becky found joy and comfort. She was big on family and doing everything she could to save a animal.
She is also survived by her siblings, Bill, Ruby, and Veronica. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Elizabeth Reed, along with her daughter Kimberly and siblings Carrie, and Frank Maiden.
Becky lived a life defined by love, resilience, and a commitment to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will always carry her memory in their hearts.
Private family service will be held for Becky at a later date.
