Raymond J. Shepherd

Raymond J. Shepherd, age 84 of Huber Heights, passed away on January 21, 2026. He was born on October 31, 1941 to the late Charles and Emaline Shepherd. He was also preceded in death by seven of his siblings.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife Rita Shepherd; his daughter, Teresa (Jack); his son, Ray (Kim); four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; his brothers, Gary and Donnie; his faithful companions, Moochie and Mickie; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Ray worked for Merchant's security and was a very dedicated employee. His main duty was in security at the Kroc Center, and he was very devoted to his work there. The staff at the Kroc Center loved working with him. He was well-thought of by everyone, which was only a testament to his protective and kind nature. He will be very deeply missed by all who loved him.
