Raymond Clifford, a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on November 20, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York. Raymond's journey through life was marked by kindness, generosity, and an ever-present sense of humor that endeared him to those who knew him.
Raymond's early education was completed at New Hyde Park Memorial High School after which he attended the New York Institute of Technology, both of Long Island, New York where he earned an Associate degree and previously various employment was at Fountain Bleu in Miami Beach, Florida. He went on to have a successful career in accounting at Dot Systems, where his professionalism and dedication contributed significantly to his field.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Raymond was a family man at heart. He is survived by his beloved children, William (Maria) Clifford, Cynthia (Miguel) Vera, and Thomas Joseph "TJ" Clifford, along with their mother, Edith Clifford. His grandchildren, Aidan, Ayla, and Aria Vera, were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Raymond was also a loving brother to Kenneth (Mary Ann) Clifford.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his kind spirit and the joy he brought into their lives. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Alvina Clifford, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion.
He enjoyed classic television and had a deep love for all sports, passions that brought him joy and connection with others throughout his life. The legacy of Raymond Clifford will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
