Ramon Compos "Poncho" Reyes Jr.

Ramon Compos "Poncho" Reyes Jr., age 66, of Dayton, passed away November 10, 2025. Ramon was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 6, 1959 to the late Ramon Sr. and Doris Reyes.

Ramon was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by wife of 50 years, Wendy Reyes; sons, Ramon Reyes III, Ricardo Reyes and Jacob Reyes; granddaughter, Olivia Reyes; sisters, Rosa Linda McMullen, Catalina Gould and Maria Reyes; brother, Roberto Reyes; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Ramon was a very dedicated employee, working 47 years at Kroger as a manager.

In his free time, he enjoyed smoking cannabis, fishing, cooking and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ramon also loved going to concerts.

Ramon was the best dad, he was kind, funny and sarcastic. He was always there for those he loved. A beloved husband and a friend to many.

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 4:00pm.
