Ralph Albert Jennings

Ralph Albert Jennings, age 88 of Dayton, passed away February 3, 2020. He was born January 28, 1932 in Speedwell, VA to the late Luther and Bessie Jennings. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Jennings.

Ralph is survived by his children: Ralph D. Jennings (Pat), Sandy Voge (Mike), Ronald Jennings, Karen Drummond (Bill), Wanda Cross (Dan), Chip Booher (Anderson), Susan Booher and Joshua Jennings; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he retired after more than 20 years of service. He later worked for and retired from the U.S. Postmaster. He was a member of the American Legion Post 746 and VFW Post 6560. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting and doing yard work. He also loved spending time with his pets.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm.
