Ralph L. Dever

Ralph L. Dever, age 70 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away with his family by his side on September 28, 2020. He was born March 8, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio son of Ralph Emerson and Marjorie Lucille Dever.

Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Ralph was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of employment. Ralph loved being on the farm with his Black Angus Cattle and taking care of his property. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, boating, camping, playing Euchre, and spending time with his family. Ralph was his grandchildren's biggest supporter in their 4H projects, and showing steers at the Hamilton County Fair in Indiana. He was very active in his grandchildren's lives going to their sporting events. Ralph will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Emerson Dever; and brother-in-law, Fred Silvers.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 48 years, Harriett "Gail" Dever; children, Amy (Chad) Robertson and Mark (Courtney) Dever; grandchildren, Ashlyn age 19, Andrew age 17, Aubrey age 16, Robertson, Lincoln age 7, Bennett age 5 Dever; mother, Marjorie Lucille Dever; sister, Barbara "Barbie" Silvers; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 3:00-4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service to follow at 4:00pm.

Burial to take place on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Bennett Cemetery St. Route 139, Minford, Ohio.
