Ralfita JoAnn Walker, age 81 of Clayton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born November 7, 1938 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Ralph and Wahnita Tharp.
In addition to her parents, Ralfita was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Walker.
Ralfita will be missed by her loving children, Vanessa Ferguson, Michael (Chrissy) Ferguson and Jessica Muhammad; grandchildren, Clowan Vance, Jr., Matthew Vance, Michael (Miki) Ferguson II, Valerie (Nicholas) Dillon, DeVante Walker, Shannon Walker, Ja'Laron Walker, Ja'Ronna Walker, Jahiem Muhammad, Jaleena Walker, Ja'Kyrah Walker, Amina Muhammad, RahJah Muhammad, Mariah Walker and Josiah Walker; 12 great grandchildren; and cousins, Nikki and Gary Brown and Steve Davis.
JoAnn was a loving mother and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was a spitfire; strong-willed, independent and straight-forward. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking and she had a fascination for John Wayne. She also loved her beloved cat, Gizmo.
