Phyllis Jean Rossiter
October 3, 1929 — December 15, 2016
Phyllis Jean Rossiter, age 87 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2016. She was born in Dayton to the late Arthur and Della Kirchner. Phyllis attended and graduated from Stivers High School in 1947. After graduating she married, Wilbur Rossiter. She worked for many years at Kohler Banquet Center and in other hospitality related fields.
Phyllis was a life long member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Dayton. She was a loving and caring sister, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Rossiter; brothers, Bill, Jim, and Walter Kirchner; and sister, Linda Grissom.
Phyllis leaves behind to cherish her memory, siblings, Kitty Blankenbeckler, Jerry Kirchner, Carol Clouse, and Karen (Kenton) Smith; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
