Hubbs, Phyllis L. "Flip", age 74, of Dayton, passed away September 23, 2017.
She was born August 19, 1943 in Coxton, KY to the late Steeley M. and Mary Azalee (Stewart) Hubbs. Phyllis was a gifted artist and loved to draw and paint.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Smith, brothers, Melvin Hubbs, Frank Hubbs, and sisters, Frances Slappey, and Debbie Coker.
Phyllis is survived by 2 sisters, Yvonne Middleton, Freda Bracht and husband, Joe; 1 brother, Mark Hubbs and wife, Margie, and numerous nieces and nephews, and her special helper at The Sanctuary, Shanta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pink Ribbon Girls or to the Breast Cancer Foundation in her memory.
