Phillip Charles Neff, age 57 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2017. He was born in Columbus to proud parents Phillip and Delores Neff. Phillip graduated from Greenon High School in 1977 and then went on to join the United States Air Force. Phillip proudly and honorably served in the USAF until 1992 when he retired. After his retirement he managed the Baymont Inn in Springfield.
Phillip was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed cheering on the Reds, Indians, and Mariners. He was a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle, fiancée, grandfather, and friend. Phillip will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Phillip leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Christina (Dave) Paxson and Meredith (Matt) Parnello; parents, Phil and Delores Neff; fiancee, Amy Jones; brothers, Todd Neff, Tom (Becky) Neff, and Jim Neff; grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Phillips life will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12:30pm. Visitation from 10:30a-12:30p. Burial and rendering of Military Honors to take place immediately following at Dayton National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Phillip's memory to the American Cancer Society or to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
