Phillip Michael Del Turco, age 65, of Bellbrook, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 6, 2020.
He was born May 1, 1955 in Beaver Falls, PA to Joseph and Mary (Abbonizio) Del Turco. Phil graduated from Geneva College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Mathematics, minoring in Computer Science. He was employed with DDC Dine' Source as a Government Contractor at WPAFB.
Most important in Phil's life was his love of our Lord. He belonged to Kettering Assembly of God Church for more than 40 years. During his years at the church he was involved with the East End Ministry, a Board member, an Adult Sunday School teacher, as well as playing the harmonica during worship. Additionally, Phil and his wife, Charlene served as Visitor greeters.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Charlene (Matta) Del Turco; his parents, Joseph and Mary Del Turco; his sisters, Ruthanne (Terry) Hoggard, and Lisa (Nick) Aievoli. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, his church family and friends.
Phil loved to study the Word of God, and was a powerful prayer warrior. He was a strategic thinker and loved board games, especially chess. Phil loved to read, especially religion and history, and he had a lifelong passion for learning. He enjoyed watching religious, history, nature and survival shows, as well as antiquing. Phil was very dedicated in all that he was involved in throughout his life. He was a very loving and devoted husband. Phil will always be remembered for his positivity and strength as well as his love of our Lord.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Kettering Assembly of God Church, 2250 E. Stroop Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45440 from 3:00 pm until time of service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Josh Plaisance officiating.
Phil will be laid to rest privately at Woodland Cemetery.
