Philip M."Phil" Sybenga, Jr.

Philip M. Sybenga, Jr., age 69 of Dayton, passed away January 9, 2016. He was born February 16, 1946 in Clovis, NM to the late Philip M. and Cecila (Petey) Sybenga.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Yellowstone for four years. While in the Navy he earned the National Defense Service Medal as well as the Vietnam Service Medal.
He is survived by his brother, E. Jan (Vicki) Sybenga; nephew, Nathaniel Sybenga; nieces, Amelia (J.P.) Lund, Emma (Jason) Malz and cousins.
