Penny Lee Santella, age 71 of Fairborn passed away peacefully on June 1, 2018, surrounded by family. Penny was born in Dayton to the late Haskell and Elizabeth Williams on December 13, 1946. Penny graduated from Belmont High School in 1965. After graduating, Penny met the love of her life, Joseph Santella. The two were married in 1966 and have spent 51 happy years together.
Penny was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived all over the east coast with her husband, who was in the Navy. Penny enjoyed baking, painting, and crocheting in her free time. She had a passion for life and a vibrant spirit. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Hollis and brother, Mike Williams.
Penny leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 51 years, Joseph Santella; children, Joseph (Heather) Santella and Ashley (Luis) Nieto; grandchildren, Sierra and Jordyn Santella and Kayla Macker; sister, Patricia (Raymond) Schommer; dear aunt, Phyllis Steinke; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Penny's Life will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Newcomer - North Chapel. Visitation from 5pm - 7pm. Service at 7pm.
