Penelope "Penny" J. Walters

Penelope "Penny" Jean (Gamble) Walters, age 65 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on February 27, 2026. She was born October 15, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio. Daughter of the late Gilbert and Bertha (Spencer) Gamble.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Arvil Clyde Walter Jr; brothers, Bruce Gamble, Keith Gamble, and Rick Gamble.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Walters, Matt Walters, and Zach Walters; daughter-in-laws, Crystal Straley and Diana Weber; siblings, Betty Stork, Dave (Dancey) Gamble; sister-in-laws, Sheila Miller, Margie Walters, and Tammy (Vernon) Smith; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A graveside service will follow at Willow View Cemetery at 2:30pm.
