Pearl A. Thompson, age 87, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Pearl was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Mark and Mildred (Stevenson) Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margaret. Pearl is survived by her son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Daniela; granddaughter, Amanda; her best friend, Barb; her friend, Donna; and her extended Rackett family.

Pearl graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1956. She had a career in accounting and communication. Pearl was an avid traveler. She traveled to all 50 states, Canada, the UK, Scotland, Europe, the Holy Land, a Caribbean cruise and a Mediterranean cruise that included Egypt.

Pearl will be remembered for her joy for living, but especially for her love of creating art through her painting, woodworking, and arts and crafts. Everyone she knew has a piece of her creativity in their homes. Many of the next generation will carry on this love. Her Christmas surprises will be missed.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Church of the Ascension (2025 Woodman Drive Kettering). Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
