Paul Wade Graham

Paul Wade Graham, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away tragically on September 18, 2026, in Dayton, doing what he loved—riding his motorcycle. He was 54. Born on April 10, 1972, in Dayton, Paul, or as his family knew him, "Bub" or "Uncle Bubby",  lived with a bold spirit that left a lasting impression on those who knew him. 

Paul graduated from Fairborn High School in 1990 and attended Greene County Career Center for Electronics. He worked as a truck driver for many years, a role well suited to his love of trucks and the open road, and later worked for River Metals Recycling in Xenia. Whatever the job before him, Paul brought the same unmistakable presence: he had a larger-than-life personality to match his larger stature; and though his size could be intimidating, his heart was as soft as a teddy bear. 

Riding his motorcycles was more than a pastime; as he liked to call it, it was his "wind therapy". He also enjoyed trucks and golf. Paul was the kind of man whose presence filled a room, whose warmth was immediate, and will be remembered for his ability to spread laughter to all. 

He is survived by his sister, Amie (John) Elam; nephew, Paul Bowman; nieces, Haylee Bowman and Bryanne (Jacob) Ogle; along with great-nieces, Oakley and Wrenley; and many other loving relatives and friends that felt like family. Each of them carries forward memories of Paul’s laughter, his big personality, and the wholehearted way he loved.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Madonna Graham and father, Paul Graham.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A funeral service will begin there at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park, 8135 N Dixie Dr, Dayton, Ohio 45414.

Paul will be remembered for his strength of presence, his love of the road, and the fullness with which he embraced the people in his life. His memory will remain a lasting part of all who knew and loved him.
