Paul E. Lanham

Paul Edgar Lanham, age 78, of Tipp City, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2025. He was born on December 24, 1946 to Robert and Odell Lanham, in Harlan, Kentucky.

Paul worked as a farmer at Tipp Top Canning Company for 36 years. He had a heart dedicated to service. Paul helped others in his community both in his free time as well as in his role as a Trustee at his church, First Baptist Church, in Tipp City. His favorite way to spend his time was fishing at Lake Erie with his many friends and family. Paul will be remembered for his hard work, humor, generosity, and loving nature.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Sue Lanham; his sisters, Bobbie Burke and Alma Marlene Johnson; and brother-in-law, Herman Johnson.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Jennifer) Lanham of Tipp City, Ohio, and Ellen (Bryan) Davis of Dayton and Troy, Ohio; grandchildren: Ashley (Luke) Bradley, Kim (fiancé Andrew Arche) Lanham, Nicholas Lanham, Dylan (Victoria) Davis, Bryce Davis, and Kayne Davis; Great Granddaughter: Amelia Bradley; his siblings: Kenneth (Jackie) Lanham and Tommy (Betty) Lanham, both of Corbin, Kentucky; sister-in-law Leisa May of Troy, Ohio; brother-in-law, Bill Smith of Florida; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 19 at First Baptist Church, 6533 Tipp Cowlesville Road, Tipp City, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to Hospice of Miami County.
