Paul Allen Fortener

Paul Allen "Al" Fortener, age 71 of Huber Heights, passed away August 23, 2020. He was born November 21, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Mary Margaret Fortener.

Paul is survived by his wife of nearly 22 years, Roxie Fortener; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Waylon and Cathy Fortener; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Mick Haught; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sue and Leon Kessel and Barbara and Ron Johnson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a Bronze Star recipient. He retired from the U.S. Postmaster, 5th Street, Downtown Dayton, OH after more than 30 years of service.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 am.
