Paul Adams

Paul Adams, 78, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025. He was predeceased by Rosie (Gose) Adams—the love of his life and devoted wife of 56 years, and by their first-born infant son. The cherished father of Paula (Bryan) Perkins and Ryan (Marla) Adams. The “Papaw” of Brody and Anna Perkins; Kayla Moore; Nicole, Andrew, and Josiah Adams; and Matthew and Marysa Duncan. He is survived by his brother Dale, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, special friends, and neighbors that he treasured dearly.

He was predeceased in death by his parents Orville and Nancy, his brothers Donald and J.B., and his sister Margie.

Paul was a proud Army veteran, having earned a Purple Heart and several other military awards for his service in Vietnam. He retired from Vernay Laboratories. He was happiest fixing or making whatever he could. He was an accomplished self-taught woodworker.

The family is forever grateful to Crossroads Hospice for the care provided to both Paul and Rosie during their final days. A private celebration of life will be held by the family.
