Patty Jean Wildman, age 85, of Beavercreek, passed away after a long illness on December 12, 2025. Patty was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 12, 1940 to the late Harold and Garnet Evans.
Patty was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann DeVelvis; brother, James Evans and an infant brother; as well as her life-long friends, Mary and Larry Leasure.
She is survived by husband of 66 years, Donald Wildman; sons, Mark (Sue) Wildman and Mitchell (Richelle) Wildman; son-in-law, Ralph DeVelvis; grandchildren, Brent (Priya), Sarah (Wesley), Chellsea, Elyse (Joseph) and Quentin; as well as her great-grandchildren, Flynn and Vera.
Patty retired from Xenia Schools as a First Grade Teacher after many years. In her free time, she enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, reading, cooking, spending time with family and playing cards.
Patty and Donald were snowbirds for close to 30 years, spending time in Salt Springs, Florida.
She was a selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Patty was the glue that held her family together.
Donations may be made in Patty's memory to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 7:00pm with Diane Ziegler officiating.
Patty will be laid to rest Fairmont Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio at a later date.
