Patty Ratz, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born December 27, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Guy and Ruth Palmer.
Patty was a loving and protective mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Ratz, Jr.; brother, Guy William Palmer; nephew, Brandon Palmer and niece, Becky Palmer.
Patty will be missed by her loving children, Tony Holman; Valeri (Mark Collins) Sullivan; grandchildren, Cassandra Sullivan, Jacob Collins, Jameson Collins and Jordan Collins; sisters, Louise Manning and Leslie (William) Slorp and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family will receive friends Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton.
Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Patty's memory.
