Patricia Zakour

ZAKOUR, Patricia "Pat", age 82, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She is preceded in death by Bill, her loving and devoted husband of 58 years; parents, John and Nellie Ajay; brother, John Ajay and his wife, Audrey; brother, William Ajay; brother, Edward Ajay; sister, Louise Aboud and her husband, Stundy; sister, Loraine Bush and her husband, Charles; sister, Joanne Ajay; and daughter-in-law, Lori Zakour. She is survived by her children, Stephen and Michael Zakour, and Jan Glendenning and her husband, Greg; grandson, Travis Glendenning; sisters-in-law, Marjorie Ajay and Annette Ajay; lifelong friend, Maxine Baird, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog and cat, Remy and Chloe. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, entertaining, and opening her home to friends and family. Pat retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where she was a Computer Specialist who worked in International Logistics and traveled to many foreign countries. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and devoted her life to taking care of her husband and intellectually disabled son, Stephen. The family extends a special thank you to all of Pat's friends, especially Bill and Rae Lopez for their love and care, and the wonderful staffs of Elmcroft of Fairborn and Hospice of Dayton, who provided Pat with outstanding, loving, compassionate, and dignified care. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 24, 2017, at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek.
