In the quiet moments between laughter and joy, Patricia "Patty" Mollett filled the lives of those around her with an exuberance that was truly infectious. Born on December 20, 1953, she departed this world on January 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and the loud, spirited personality that everyone cherished.
Patty was a wonderful mother to her children, Gary Turner, Todd Mollett (Heather), Kenneth Combs Jr., Travis Mollett, Eric Mollett (Christina); bonus daughter Sara & she will be profoundly missed by her beloved partner, the love of her life, Tommy Hampton. Her role as a grandmother was particularly special; who always spoiled her grandbabies with affection and attention. She leaves behind a large and loving brood, including her cherished grandchildren: Peyton, Dillon, Ethan, Alayna, Kenneth III, Chloe, Elizabeth, Vanessa, Aubriana, Kinsley, Travis Jr., Alivia, Aniyah, Bryson, Marileigh, Nolan, & Harper; Her great-grandbaby, Dallas, who will carry the love of their Mamaw forward into the future.
Patty rejoins those she loved who have gone before her, including her parents, Clifford and Etta Turner, her brother, her grandson Eric Jr. and her aunt Mary Ellen along with cousins Jerry Watts, Randy Watts, Dale & Mary Watts. Though they depart from this life, their spirits will forever echo in those who hold them dear.
Known for her stubbornness, Coca-Cola Collection, neighborhood gossip & funny come backs, Patty was often found visiting yard sales with friends, She took immense joy in mushroom hunting & fishing hobbies that often became an exciting adventure shared with loved ones & a connection to nature’s beauty, She had an unmatched ability to make everyone feel at home, the comforting smell of her famous baked beans and ham wafting from the kitchen. A true devotee of classic rock music, loving nothing more than to “boogie” to her favorite tunes and share those moments with friends and family.
Patty Mollett's presence in this world was a gift, and her memory will continue to resonate through the laughter of her family, the melodies of classic rock, and the simple joys of life that she embraced so fully, along with a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends who hold her close in their hearts. As we say goodbye to Patty, let us remember her boundless spirit and the love that she shared with all of us.
