Patricia Honious

September 17, 1944 — April 17, 2016

Patricia Marie Honious, age 71, of Kettering, passed away unexpectedly April 17, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born September, 17, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Nicholas and Clara Drumke.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Clara Drumke.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald; children Peter and wife Julia, Russell, Nicholas and wife Erin, Jennifer and husband Louis Jr. Including her six grandchildren

Pat worked as the assistant Council Clerk for the City of Kettering and most recently worked as a receptionist at the Charles I. Lathrem Senior Center. She enjoyed working in her garden, visiting Myrtle Beach, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was an active member at the Church of the Ascension working in their food pantry. Pat also enjoyed working with the Carillon Park Rail and Steam Society at Carillon Park.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Ascension on Friday, April 22 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow that afternoon at Dayton National Cemetery. Pat's family will receive friends on Thursday, April 21 from 5-8:00 pm at Newcomer South Funeral Home in Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JDRF, Care of Chris Peterson 70 Birch Alley #240 Beavercreek OH 45440.
