Patricia J. Borgerding

Patricia J. Borgerding, age 88 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 26, 1930 in Marietta, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry and Imelda Mayhew.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Borgerding; daughters, Mary Anna and Theresa Borgerding.

Patricia is survived by her children, LaDonna Borgerding, Sandra Borgerding, Gerry Lawrence, Carla (Jim) Fletcher, Lewis Borgerding, Harry Edward Borgerding, Joseph (Renae) Borgerding, Francis Borgerding; brother, Robert (Lillian) Mayhew; grandchildren, Susan (Carl) Canterberry, Becky Borgerding, Bo Borgerding, Amber Borgerding, Adam Lawrence, Amanda Lawrence, Chelsea Borgerding, Cameron Borgerding; great grandchildren, Drew and Canaan; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Patricia was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and belonged to the Third Order of Mary. She was a very devout catholic. She was extremely giving and selfless, and was very active in volunteering.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
