Patience Arlene Lee “Pacy” Rawlins, age 22, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away on October 18, 2026. She was born January 2, 2004, in Kettering, Ohio. Pacy’s life, though far too short, left an extraordinary mark on the people who loved her. She had an undeniable “main character energy” and made it her mission to establish herself as the favorite in everyone’s life- favorite daughter, favorite sister, favorite aunt, favorite granddaughter, favorite niece, favorite friend.
More than anything, Pacy cared deeply about people. She was the person who would be there when someone was having a hard time, ready to listen, offer support, or make them laugh. She was a devoted daughter, a loving sister, a dedicated girlfriend, a cherished granddaughter, a loyal friend, and an incredibly loving aunt and Tia. Pacy was caring, sweet, funny, and wonderfully sarcastic.
Pacy shared a special relationship with her mother, Jennifer- a bond that was equal parts mother and daughter and genuine friendship. She loved her sisters deeply and treasured the bond they shared. Her relationship with her Memaw was another constant in her life. Pacy always knew that Memaw loved her and would be there for her. She loved visiting Memaw’s house to cook, make crafts, or simply hang out. It was also where the family gathered for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and, thanks to Pacy, plenty of taco nights. She was a lover of hot fries and a true spicy food connoisseur. She loved watching movies with her mom, swimming, fishing with family or her boyfriend, SpongeBob, music, and traveling.Through her job, she was able to meet, talk with, and interact with so many different people; this was something that came naturally to Pacy, whose light had a way of reaching others. She also loved the water and the beach. Among her treasured trips were a girls’ trip to Myrtle Beach with her sisters, Memaw, and Great Aunt Rose, and a trip to Tybee Island with Tab, Vada, Memaw, and Rose as well.
To Eliana and LJ, she was their beloved “Tia,” and to Vada she was affectionately known as her Pacy. Being an aunt was a role Pacy embraced wholeheartedly. She spent countless happy days going to the zoo, swimming at the pool, and visiting indoor playgrounds with them. She loved all of her nieces and nephews dearly and made sure they knew it. Pacy was also, proudly, a cat mom. Cats held a special place in her heart throughout her life, especially Chester, Luna, and her beloved Blue, who survives her.
Pacy graduated from Miamisburg High School in 2022. She had recently found a job that she genuinely enjoyed.
She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Rawlins; her brother, James Kuntz; her sisters, Tabitha (Brandyon) McMillian and Sabrina (José) Zamora; her grandmother, Pat “Memaw” Rawlins, and her husband, Fin Evans; her nieces and nephews, Skylar McMillian, Ryann McMillian, Vada McMillian, Eliana Zamora, and LJ Zamora; her beloved cat, Blue; and many family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were brighter because Pacy was part of them.
She was preceded in death by her father, Shane Rawlins, whom she missed dearly.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Pacy’s life on Monday, October 26, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Centerville, Ohio. Open visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Flowers and donations are welcomed in Pacy’s memory.
Pacy was given only 22 years, but the love, laughter, memories, and relationships she packed into those years cannot be measured by their number. She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, girlfriend, aunt, Tia, niece, friend, and cat mom. She was deeply loved, and she made sure the people in her life knew they were loved, too. Those who knew Pacy will remember her sarcasm, her sweetness, her love for her family, her ability to make people laugh, and the unmistakable energy she brought into a room. She wanted to be everyone’s favorite, and in the hearts of so many people who loved her, she was.
