Pamela Jean Yri (McCally)
Age 69, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William David Yri, her sister Beverly Penaranda (Carl), her daughters Dianna Conboy (Patrick), Amy Yri (Kris) and 5 grandchildren Skylar, Sam, Rileigh, Quinn and Joy Conboy. She graduated from Stebbins HS -67; U of West Florida -1980, BS in Management; and Wright State U - 1990, Masters in Business Administration. She retired in 2005 after 34 years of Federal Civil Service with the Air Force as a Contracting Officer. Her retirement job was Financial Manager for Roads to Recovery Autism Center. Her church was Kirkmont Presbyterian Church where she served 15.5 years in the capacities of Trustee, Elder, Finance Elder and Treasurer. Her passion was music as part of Kirkmont Choir, the Kirkmont Mixed Quartet, the Sweet Retreat and Bell Choir as well as the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus and Chamber Choir. She was part of her High School Reunion planning committee for all their reunions. She was a private pilot. She loved to travel; visiting all 50 of the United States, including all the major National Parks, three of the Canadian provinces, both of our native countries – Ireland and Norway as well as over 20 other countries. Her Memorial Service will be at Kirkmont Presbyterian Church, 3377 Shakertown Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45434 on Saturday, 22 June at 11am with a luncheon social immediately following the service. She will be inurned in the Old Glory Plaza at David's Cemetery at a later date.
