It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Pamela "Pam" Lynn Logel, née Moore, who left us on March 12, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on November 2, 1954, in Richmond, Kentucky, Pam brought into this world a spirit marked by love, compassion, and a heartfelt dedication to her family and community.
Pam’s life was a tapestry of devotion and adventure. For many years, she contributed her talents and kindness working at Ester Price, where her caring nature touched the lives of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Pam was a woman of remarkable warmth—a loving heart that extended generously to all who knew her.
Her joys were many and richly embraced. Pam loved to travel, having explored over 40 countries, a testament to her curious mind and adventurous spirit. She found solace and delight in reading, enjoyed going to the movies, and cherished every moment spent with her beloved family. Above all, Pam was incredibly proud of her family and her remarkable 53-year marriage to her devoted husband, Gary Logel.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, Gary Logel, her children Eric Logel, Stacy (Tony) Yaney, and Tricia (Rodney) Herzog; her brother Gary (Pam) Moore; sisters Rhonda (Tim) Gipson and LaDonna Hall; grandchildren Victoria, Austin, Maddie, Mason, Ashlyn, and Hunter; her great-grandchildren Ezra and Aria. She also leaves behind special aunts Doris and Ruth, as well as a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who treasured her presence. Her profound love and legacy are carried on by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Shirley Moore; her daughter Jennifer Martin; and her beloved grandmother Gladys “Little Granny,” whose memory she carried close to her heart.
Pam’s family vividly remembers her as a loving, caring, and compassionate soul whose light will continue to shine brightly. She took immense pride in her great-grandson Ezra, her grandchildren, and the enduring bonds she forged through her lifelong commitments.
A gathering will be held to honor and celebrate Pam’s life on April 4, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton, located at 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. Though Pam has departed from our sight, the love she sowed and the memories she cultivated will forever bloom in the hearts of those she cherished. Her journey may have ended, but the touches of her grace will remain eternal, inspiring all who knew her to live with the same generous spirit she so beautifully exemplified.
