Orvel Short, age 93 of Dayton, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26th, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his Daughter, Brenda (Short) Cox and Charles Gene Short, both of Dayton.
Orvel is survived by his wife of 71 years Zelma (Lowery) Short and his son, Gary (Vickie) Short also from Dayton.
He leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Jason (Raquel) Short, Levi (Tiffani) Short, Shayna (Shawn) Seippel, Chuck (Robin) Short, Ron (Robin) Short, Greg Short, Willie Jr. (Connie) Cox, Steven Cox, Shannon Cox, Mark (Crystal) Cox. Orvel also had 13 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church 2605 Valley St., Riverside, OH 45414 on Friday February 28th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service being held at the church on Saturday, March 1st, at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
