Norma Jean Myers

Norma Jean Myers, age 96 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Oak Creek Terrace. She was born September 6, 1929 in Wheelersburg, Ohio the daughter of the late Winnibald and Mary Montavon.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Stanley Myers; five brothers and two sisters.

Norma is survived by her four daughters, Barbara (Roger) Hardy, Carol (Jim) Dittmar, Denise (Tim) Haun, Ellen (Malcom) McCuiston; two sons, Paul (Joyce) Myers and Brad (Janet) Myers; grandchildren, Dawn, Crystal, Jeremy, Nathan, Jared, Melissa, Mark, Brandon, Madalyn and Cole; and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Norma attended Wheelersburg High School where she graduated in 1947. She was a devout Catholic with a strong faith throughout her life. She was a major sports fanatic with the Cincinnati Reds and Duke Basketball being her favorite. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and playing bingo, but most of all her greatest passion was her family. Norma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Norma's honor.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Following the service, Norma will be laid to rest with the love of her life at Calvary Cemetery.
