Nola Jane Crawford

Nola Jane Crawford, age 84 of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Soin Medical Center. She was born June 16, 1935 in Morley, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Dave and Mazzie Mae (Schooler) Smith.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, John Newton Smith, Charles E. Smith, Ralph S. Smith and Hazel Mae Nunn.

Nola is survived by her husband, R.W. Crawford; children, Patricia (Perry) Bryant, Ed (Lorri) Roberts; step-daughter, Shelli (Sean) Huffman; step-son, Ray Crawford; grandchildren, Jamie Bretzfelder, Jacqueline Bretzfelder, Joshua (Ryan Beth) Bryant, Chris Roberts, Shanda Roberts (fiance, Michael Irons), Kelly (Kris) Buess, Brittany Huffman, Brandon Huffman, Chelsea Wilson, Kyle (Brittanee) Crawford, Nicholas Crawford, Sydney Crawford, Isaiah Crawford; great grandchildren, Jackson, Alli, Cynthia, Jonathan, Brook, Alexa, Caiden, Gabriel, Benjamin, Abigail, Michael; siblings, Margarette Radabaugh, Franklin (Joyce) Smith, Evelyn (Glenn) Wetzel, Micheal Smith, John N. (Christina) Smith, Donna Smith, David (Michelle) Smith, James (Cari) Smith; step-mother, Stella Smith; step-brother, Timothy Gill; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Nola was a Sunday school teacher, secretary and treasurer of Moraine Full Gospel Temple for many years. She also worked as an accountant at Green World. She loved to garden and had an affinity for roses. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
